Today was a good day.
Tuesdays are really difficult days. Most of it is spent in the vehicle driving back and forth to band or sitting and waiting for people to get OUT of band. This week was no different, but I was a bit more prepared. I actually got out of bed and showered and dressed before most of the children were up (YAY ME!). Funny how getting things moving before there is a rush effects how well they run the rest of the day. I had the time to gather Patrick and Florian’s school books so I could school them while Michael was in band, and Terese was ready to take care of the youngest two while I was gone. Because of such a small amount of prep time I was able to set the tone for the rest of the day! We got school done with Florian and Patrick. Michael was able to get quite a bit of work done once we got home and everyone had a peaceful lunch!
SO needed an “easy” day.
BTW the *nearly* two year old has an obsession with Perry the Platypus. Big brother got a stuffed one for his birthday (he’s FOUR!!) and the little nut has taken it over! He carries it around stroking it lovingly on the back saying in that sweet little toddler voice “Perry Patipus”
LOVE my boys!!
